Dhanarua police arrested Omprakash Yadav, also known as Bhagwan, about 40 years old, at Pabhedi village on Saturday 31 October 2026 on suspicion of selling ganja. Officers recovered 64 packets holding a total of 130 grams of the drug from his roadside kiosk, and the station house officer said police were investigating where he obtained it and whether others were involved.

Egypt's Interior Ministry said on 31 October 2026 that security services arrested a man in 10th of Ramadan, Sharqia Governorate, for running a social-media page that advertised drugs for sale.
