Police in Corrientes reported a search and seizure in barrio Esperanza, the capital of Corrientes Province.[1] The search took place at a residence on M. Chervin Street as part of a judicial investigation.[1] One woman was detained during the operation.[1]

During the search, officers seized two groups of packets: 19 containing a white powder and five containing a substance of plant origin.[1] Tests on the substances produced positive results for cocaine and marijuana, respectively.[1] The tests were orientative, or preliminary, and were conducted at the scene.[1] The five packets of plant-origin material were the ones that tested positive for marijuana, while the 19 white-powder packets tested positive for cocaine.[1]

Officers also seized cash, six mobile phones of different makes and models, and one DVR device.[1] Police placed the detained woman at the disposal of the justice system.[1] They transferred all seized items to the relevant police station so investigative steps in the case could continue.[1]
