The Ertzaintza arrested seven people, six men and one woman aged 36 to 56, in raids across Bizkaia and seized about 3 kg of hashish, 2.5 kg of cocaine and €225,000 in cash, the Basque security department said. Egypt's Interior Ministry said on 31 October 2026 that security services arrested a man in 10th of Ramadan, Sharqia Governorate, for running a social-media page that advertised drugs for sale.
