Police arrested 14 foreign nationals after searching a warehouse used to store
and package cannabis in Sam Wa Tawan Tok, Khlong Sam Wa district, Bangkok.[1]
The raid took place on 31 October 2026.[2] Immigration Bureau investigators
conducted the search with Thailand’s Office of the Narcotics Control Board and
Nimit Mai Police Station.[1]
Two detainees were Vietnamese nationals, and one was wanted by Vietnamese
authorities under an arrest warrant in a drug-related case.[2]
Police sent all 14 detainees and the seized items to Nimit Mai investigators for
legal proceedings.[2] Officials said they were continuing to trace the
warehouse’s financiers and other people involved, and to investigate whether
Thai nationals had been used as nominee shareholders for foreign nationals.[2]
