A 31-year-old man was arrested in Villa Rumipal, Córdoba province, accused of selling drugs by delivery.[1] The search was carried out by the Fuerza Policial Antinarcotráfico (FPA), Córdoba’s anti-narcotics police, which said it had broken up an alleged sales point that operated independently.[1] Canal C reported the same FPA operation and the same arrest of a 31-year-old man after an investigation that identified where he was working.[2]

Officers had spent six months gathering information on the suspect before searching a house on the 100 block of Juan Domingo Perón street.[1] During the search they seized several doses of marijuana, cannabis sativa plants and materials used to portion illicit substances.[1] Canal C likewise reported several doses of marijuana, cannabis sativa plants and items used to portion substances at that address.[2]

Investigators said he sold not only from the searched house but also made deliveries in the street, a method known as delivery, in different parts of Villa Rumipal.[1] That delivery method was said to have let him operate across Villa Rumipal rather than only where he lived.[1] After the search the FPA said it had closed the alleged sales point and detained the man under investigation.[1]

The case went to the Fiscalía de Lucha contra el Narcotráfico de Río Tercero, the anti-narcotics prosecutor’s office in Río Tercero, which ordered him moved and the seized items sent to court.[1] He was held for the justice system on an alleged breach of Argentina’s national narcotics law.[1] Canal C said that, on the Río Tercero prosecutor’s order, he remained detained, the seized items were added to the case, and the file was opened for an alleged breach of the same law.[2]
