Three people were detained in Concordia during a police raid on Friday afternoon after a woman struck officers with a kitchen board and two men punched them.[1][2] Officers from Comisaría Séptima, the city’s seventh police station, led the raid and seized wrappers of cocaine and marijuana.[1] The searches ran at the same time at two homes, near Los Benteveos at number 2000 and at the corner of Los Jilgueros and Los Gorriones.[1][2][3] Court orders had been issued in an investigation into items stolen from a house.[1]

At one of the addresses, officers notified a 19-year-old of the search and identified three women and two men.[1][2][3] Violence broke out as they entered and briefly stopped the work.[1] Police said the clash happened in a small room used as a kitchen and dining room, where one of the identified women and two men resisted the procedure.[1][2][3] The woman picked up a kitchen board and hit the officers, and the two men punched them.[1][2][3] Officers restrained the three, restored order and continued the search under the court orders.[1]

During the inspection they found wrappers of suspicious substances and called in the División Drogas Peligrosas, the dangerous-drugs unit.[1][2][3] Field tests were positive for cocaine and marijuana.[1][2][3] The substances were seized and held for the courts.[1] Duty prosecutor Martín Núñez ordered the arrest of the woman and the two men involved in the assaults.[1][2][3] The three were held for the alleged offences of attacking and resisting authority and illegal possession of narcotics, and the court proceedings continued.[1] According to the police account given to 7Páginas, both searches produced positive results.[4]
