Military Police detained five people — four men and one woman — when they stopped a vehicle in Timbó in the early hours of 4 November 2026.[1] The five occupants were taken to the Central de Plantão Policial, the on-duty police station, in Blumenau with all the seized drugs and objects.[1] The material was presented to the police authority for the applicable legal procedures, and the case was recorded as drug trafficking for investigation by the competent authorities.[1]

Officers seized approximately 13.2 kilos of marijuana, the cannabis component recorded here, together with 21 grams of hashish.[1] The same vehicle search also found crack, cocaine and tablets described as an ecstasy analogue, which are left out of the cannabis total.[1] Officers also collected six mobile phones, two notebooks and a scale during the operation.[1]

The stop took place at about 1:30 a.m. on Rua Blumenau and mobilized teams from different municipalities in the region, including Timbó, Blumenau and Indaial.[1] The action was carried out by the Military Police through Timbó’s Radiopatrulha, the routine patrol unit, with support from Timbó’s ROCAM motorcycle patrol, Blumenau’s Tático tactical unit and Indaial’s Radiopatrulha.[1]
