Three people and a minor were detained by officers of the Guardia Civil Municipal, the municipal police of Soledad de Graciano Sánchez in San Luis Potosí, during preventive patrols in different colonias, the municipality’s neighbourhoods.[1] Police described the detentions as for probable participation in delitos contra la salud, offences against health.[1]

In separate interventions in Villa de los Cactus and Nueva Foresta, two men were detained after officers found them with bags of suspected marijuana.[1] In Rancho Blanco, a woman was detained on suspicion of possessing methamphetamine.[1] In Puerta Real, officers detained a 15-year-old with doses of suspected methamphetamine and notified their parents under the protocol for minors.[1]

All four were taken for medical certification and then placed at the disposal of the Fiscalía General del Estado, the state prosecutor’s office.[1]
