Municipal Guardia Civil officers detained seven men and a 17-year-old in Soledad de Graciano Sanchez during the previous 24 hours for probable delitos contra la salud, offences against health.[1] The corporation said the interventions happened during preventive patrols in different colonias, neighbourhoods, after officers found people allegedly disturbing public order or committing administrative faults.[1] In Hogares Ferrocarrileros, Praderas del Maurel and Rancho Blanco officers detained Eduardo N, 38, Alberto N, 28, and Cesar N, 23, finding doses of a substance with characteristics of methamphetamine.[1] In colonia Las Flores officers detained a 17-year-old for alleged possession of cristal doses and said his parents were notified under the applicable protocol.[1] In La Virgen, San Francisco de Asis, La Foresta and Hacienda Bonita officers detained Ricardo N, 32, Homero N, 46, Fermin N, 18, and Juan N, 20, for alleged possession of doses of a substance with characteristics of marijuana.[1]
After officers told them the reason for detention, all eight people were transferred to the Fiscalia General del Estado, the state prosecutor, with the seized substances for investigation.[1] In Ricardo N’s case the corporation said a records check found prior detentions for alleged robbery and weapons possession and various prison admissions linked to metropolitan-area criminal incidents.[1] Authorities did not say whether the seized substances underwent expert analysis or report the outcome of the ministerial investigation, so the detained people must be considered innocent until responsibility is determined by judicial ruling.[1] A second account reports the same roundup as seven men and a 17-year-old detained during the previous 24 hours after being found during preventive rounds.[2] That account names the same four marijuana detainees as Ricardo N, 32, Homero N, 46, Fermin N, 18, and Juan N, 20, in La Virgen, San Francisco de Asis, La Foresta and Hacienda Bonita.[2]
