Officers of DENARC, the Department of Narcotics, arrested 21-year-old David
Silva de Oliveira Filho in Porto Velho’s south zone on suspicion of drug
trafficking.[1]The case was recorded under operations Narke and Protetor das
Fronteiras.[1]An anonymous tip said the suspect was selling drugs and
supplying different sale points across the region.[1]DENARC teams
investigated and monitored the suspect, stopping him as he left his apartment to
make a delivery and finding three portions of powdered cocaine in his clothing.[2]
Officers then searched the apartment on Rua Baobá in the Cohab neighbourhood and
found the remaining drugs hidden inside a refrigerator.[1]In total officers
seized 102 portions of skunk amounting to about half a kilogram of that drug.[1]The same seizure included 23 portions of cocaine and four larger portions
of that drug weighing about 300 grams, which are not counted in the cannabis
total.[2]Officers also collected about R$500 in cash and a motorcycle
investigators said was used in trafficking.[1]
The detainee was arrested and taken to DENARC headquarters, where legal
procedures were carried out.[1]Both reports were published on 3 November
2026.[1]
The reports describe the operation only as happening that afternoon of the 3 November 2026 publication date, so 3 November 2026 is used as the incident date.
The skunk weight is given only as approximately half a kilogram, not an exact laboratory weight.
The reported cocaine, 23 portions plus four larger portions weighing about 300 grams, is mentioned only to explain the mixed seizure and is excluded from the cannabis figure.
About R$500 in cash was collected, but no cannabis-only street valuation was published, so no value is recorded.
No charge, custody ruling or court outcome beyond the arrest and transfer to DENARC headquarters was reported.
Both accessible accounts carry the same Portal SGC text, with the submitted page republishing it, so they repeat the police version with no separate official statement opened.
The pages carry a cover image captioned only as Imagem de Capa and other thumbnails for unrelated items, which does not establish that any image shows this seizure, so no media entry is included.
