Civil Police arrested a man in flagrante at a house in the Miguel Petri neighbourhood in Ibiporã on the afternoon of Tuesday 3 November 2026.[1] Officers reached the address after receiving information that the premises were being used to store drugs.[1] The man was taken to the Ibiporã police station and booked in flagrante for drug trafficking.[1] Police said the suspect had previous records linked to drug trafficking and admitted that the drugs were his.[1] Police also said an open arrest warrant existed against the man.[1]

At the house officers seized more than 3.7 kg of marijuana and about 200 grams of cocaine, almost four kilos of drugs in total.[1] Part of the marijuana had already been divided into small portions ready for sale.[1] Officers also seized two scales, materials used to pack the substances and R$220 in cash.[1]

According to the investigation, the house was used to store and sell drugs.[1] Delegate Vitor Dutra said the strong smell of marijuana also drew the officers’ attention during the operation.[1] Investigators said the drugs were sometimes hidden in a wooded area but had been brought into the house because of the rain.[1]
