Mandau Police’s operational team arrested two men identified as BKA (34) and AP (31) in Duri on the evening of 2 November 2026.[1] The arrests took place at a house on Jalan Asrama Tribrata, Gang Abdul Rahman, in Pematang Pudu, Mandau, Bengkalis.[1] Both men are residents of Pematang Pudu and were taken with the evidence to Mandau Police Station for examination and further investigation.[1]
Police seized a total of 21 packets of cannabis-type narcotics in the operation.[1] Officers found 19 packets kept by BKA inside a wardrobe, comprising one large packet, one medium packet and 17 small packets.[1] Two further packets were found in a Torch-brand sling bag in AP’s possession.[1] Alongside the cannabis, officers seized two mobile phones and two motorcycles, a black Yamaha NMAX and a white Yamaha Jupiter MX.[1]
The operation followed a statement by detained suspect YS that the cannabis had come from BKA.[1] Acting on that information, the Mandau operational team investigated and went to the house at the scene.[1] Police said the case is being pursued as alleged cannabis trafficking under Article 111 of Indonesia’s Narcotics Law No. 35 of 2009 in conjunction with Article 609 on penalty adjustment.[1] Investigators said they are still examining the case to trace the origin of the drugs and the involvement of other parties.[1]
