Satresnarkoba investigators of Polresta Cirebon seized 10 kilograms of dried
cannabis and arrested two suspects identified only as AR and AZ in an East
Cirebon distribution case.[1][2] Officers first detained a buyer in Cirebon Timur
and used that lead to identify the two suspects.[3][2] Police then entered a
house allegedly used to store and repackage the cannabis and found the suspects
dividing it into small packages for sale.[4][2]
From AR officers recovered nine large packages weighing about 9 kilograms gross
hidden in traditional woven bamboo baskets, and from AZ another 1 kilogram
package, making the 10 kilogram gross total.[4] Police said the cannabis was
supplied from a Jakarta network and was intended for sale in the Cirebon area,
with investigation into the higher supply network continuing.[3][2]
Police estimated that profit from reselling the cannabis could reach nearly
double the capital spent.[3] Polresta Cirebon announced the case at a press
conference on Monday, 2 November 2026.[1]
