The Tim Elang Kuantan narcotics team arrested three suspected dealers in the early hours of 1 November 2026.[1][2] The three men, identified only as A, LA and RK, were all held at the same lodging, Wisma O in Sungai Jering, Kuantan Tengah.[1][2] Officers caught A, aged 40, at about 01.30 in one room at Wisma O.[1]

Police said the case began with community information about alleged trafficking in Pulau Godang Kari village, Kuantan Tengah.[1] Officers investigated that tip and followed the suspect to a lodging in Sungai Jering.[1] A search witnessed by neighbourhood officials found three packages of methamphetamine and 28 ecstasy pills kept in a brown wallet.[1] A told interrogators he kept more ecstasy at his rented house in Pulau Godang Kari, where officers later found 80 more pills in a small bag in the kitchen.[1]

Officers raided the Wisma Oshin room at about 02.30 and detained LA together with RK.[2] In that room officers found 16 ecstasy pills weighing 5.92 grams gross and one rolled cigarette suspected to contain dried cannabis from RK.[2] Following LA’s statement, officers extended the operation to his rented house in Koto Taluk village, Kuantan Tengah.[2] At about 04.30, witnessed by village officials, that search found three meth packages and three pyrex pipes with suspected meth totalling 1.86 grams gross, plus eight packages of dried cannabis weighing 30.47 grams gross.[2]
