Police in Conegliano arrested an unemployed man born in 1995.[1] Officers of the Conegliano Public Security Commissariat, coordinated by the Treviso prosecutor, carried out the operation as part of intensified checks ahead of the Halloween weekend.[2] With help from the Local Police dog unit, they located the 1995-born man’s home in the Lourdes district and seized the material.[3] The 31-year-old, originally from the Vittoriese area but living in central Conegliano, was placed under house arrest.[3]

Inside the apartment police found about 500 grams of hashish, 35 grams of cocaine, 16 grams of marijuana and 171 grams of ketamine in several bags.[2] The home also held precision scales, pans believed to have been used to prepare drugs and material for packaging individual doses.[1] Officers recovered about 22,000 euros in cash hidden in several hiding places.[1] The money was seized because investigators considered it proceeds of dealing.[1]

Investigators believe the drugs were intended for sale during the Halloween weekend, particularly in raves and nightclubs.[1] Police announced further specific anti-trafficking services in the coming days.[1] The investigation continues under the coordination of the Treviso prosecutor.[1] The arrest is an investigative measure and does not establish definitive responsibility.[1]
