In its operational report for 7 to 13 October, released on Wednesday 14 October, the National People’s Army said combined detachments working with the security services had foiled attempts to introduce 4 quintals and 82 kg of treated kif from the Moroccan borders and arrested 47 traffickers in operations across the military regions.[1] The same week also yielded 368,937 psychotropic tablets.[1]

The report framed the week as sustained counter-terrorism and organised crime work; alongside the drug figures it lists seven arrested terror-group supporters, three illegal gold miners shot dead, 385 people held in the south, and 291 blocked clandestine departures at sea.[1]
