Military police arrested three people and found more than 1.3 tonnes of cannabis in an apartment in Riviera da Barra, Vila Velha, on 29 October 2026.[1] The three were Felipe Vieira Lima, 29, known as “Di Rocha”, Saulo Ferreira Junqueira, 45, and Cleidileia Firmino, 46.[1] They were taken to the Federal Police headquarters with the seized material.[2]
The Military Police put the load at 1 tonelada e 340 quilos, or 1,340 kg.[3] The operation began after the intelligence service of the 17th Independent Company received information that the flat was used to store drugs.[3] The information was shared with the Military Police intelligence directorate and the 4th Battalion’s intelligence service, and officers watched the flat before the raid.[3] Approaching the flat, officers smelled a strong odour of drugs and saw one suspect holding a tablet of the drug before he ran inside.[3] The officers broke the padlock on the gate to enter.[1] Most of the cannabis was in one room, inside zippered bags and closed boxes, with some of it loose.[3]
Police said the three were not tied to a specific gang but supplied cannabis to groups selling it in Greater Vitória, including the Terceiro Comando Puro (TCP) and the Primeiro Comando de Vitória (PCV).[1] Saulo already had police records for drug trafficking and robbery.[3] The three had lived in the rented flat for about a year.[3] The Military Police suspect the cannabis came from another state to be sold in Espírito Santo; the three did not say where it came from.[1]
