National Police officers arrested a woman and two men, all members of one family, in Valladolid on Wednesday 28 October 2026.[1][2] The woman lived in the flat with her partner and son.[3][2][4] Police said the flat, in Las Delicias, was a retail point for cocaine.[3] They were detained on suspicion of drug trafficking after officers searched the home.[5] Police said the woman and her partner had both been arrested before for similar offences.[3] With the operation, code-named SMURF, police declared the cocaine sales point dismantled.[3][2][4]

The search turned up 145 grams of cocaine, 500 grams of marijuana and 150 grams of hashish.[3][2][6][4] Officers also seized €3,115 in cash, two bladed weapons and numerous utensils used to prepare and distribute drugs.[3][2][7] Police estimated the haul could have made about 690 doses for direct sale and valued it at €20,150 on the illegal market.[3][2][7][4]

The two men gave statements at the Provincial Police Station in Valladolid and were released, with an obligation to appear before a court when required.[3][2][7][4] A judge ordered the woman held in prison after she was brought before the court.[3][8][4] The investigation began in August, after reports that a woman was selling drugs from her home and its surroundings.[5][2] Police said the inquiry ran into difficulties because the suspects took security measures to detect police movements.[3]
