National Police officers in Adeje, in the south of Tenerife, arrested four people and closed two cannabis clubs in an operation against suspected drug trafficking.[1] The two associations were sealed by court order for six months.[1]

Some of the products were prepared for consumption.[2] More than €50,000 in cash and more than £2,000 were also confiscated.[1]

The locations of the two clubs and the date of the operation have not been made public.[1] The four arrests relate to this investigation and do not mean that every cannabis association is involved in illegal activity.[1]
