During the previous night, State Police arrested a 21-year-old in Sant’Antimo for unlawful possession of drugs intended for dealing.[1][2] Officers from the Frattamaggiore police station stopped him while passing through via Svizzera in Sant’Antimo after noticing a car carrying a person acting suspiciously.[1][2] The officers said their investigative instinct was confirmed when the check found drugs in the young man’s possession.[1]

He was carrying 18 sachets of marijuana with a total weight of 41 grams.[1][2] He was also carrying 6 sachets containing 30 grams of hashish.[1][2] Officers also seized 2,000 euros in banknotes of various denominations from him.[1][2] They also seized a knife with an overall length of 12 cm and a telescopic baton.[1][2]

For these reasons, the suspect was arrested by the officers on duty.[1] He was also reported for unlawful carrying of weapons or objects capable of offending.[1][2]
