On 29 October 2026, shortly before 9 p.m., officers of the Rhodes Crime Prosecution and Detection Subdivision stopped a 50-year-old man in Rhodes and arrested him after a check.[1] Prosecutors brought a felony charge of drug trafficking against the 50-year-old and referred him to an investigating judge.[1] Before the Rhodes investigating judge, the man denied the charge as attributed to him.[1] With the agreement of the Rhodes first-instance prosecutor, he was then released with restrictive conditions.[1] The conditions ban him from leaving the country and require him to appear once during the first five days of each month at his local police station.[1]

Police seized all the items found, 16.5 grams of cannabis in total, and filed a case against him that was referred to the competent authority.[1]
