Officers of the Larissa Crime Prevention and Suppression Unit, known by the Greek initials O.P.K.E., arrested a 30-year-old Greek national in Larissa on the evening of 1 November 2026.[1] The man was detained after officers of the Larissa O.P.K.E. carried out a check on him in the city.[1][2] During that check, he was found holding two separate packages containing cannabis.[1][2]

One package was a nylon wrapping holding 2.5 grams of unprocessed cannabis, called akatergasti kannavi in Greek.[1][2] The other package was a paper wrapping holding 1.3 grams of processed cannabis, called katergasmeni kannavi in Greek.[1][2] Together, the two packages amounted to 3.8 grams, or 0.0038 kilograms, of cannabis.[1]

Officers seized both the nylon package and the paper package at the time of the check.[1][2] The seizure was carried out as part of the same street check in Larissa that led to the arrest.[1] The recorded weights for the seizure were 2.5 grams for the nylon package and 1.3 grams for the paper package.[1]
