Security services attached to the Relizane wilaya police carried out several
major operations against urban crime and illicit trafficking, the force said.[1] The Relizane research and intervention brigade, the BRI, arrested five
people in those operations.[1] The force described the five as
narco-traffickers.[1]
Officers seized 50 grams of processed kif, known in the communiqué as kif
traité.[1] The same seizure included 240 psychotropic tablets of the
pregabalin type and 53 tablets of the ecstasy type.[1] Officers also seized
1.91 grams of cocaine and a bottle based on a hallucinogen.[1] They took 1,344
units of spirits of different volumes and brands, and three prohibited weapons.[1]
A judicial file was opened against the accused traffickers.[1] They were
brought before the competent court for possession, transport and sale of hard
drugs.[1]
