Police arrested a man at a parcel service office in Rajshahi’s Boalia thana area on Thursday night.[1] The arrest took place around 8:30 pm on 29 October 2026.[2] The arrested man was Prevel Islam, 28, son of Nazmul Haque of Rasunchak village in Shibganj upazila, Chapainawabganj district.[1]
SRB-5 said it seized 28 kg of cannabis from his possession.[1] The unit said its team had acted on a tip-off before the raid.[3]
The sender and origin of the parcel were not disclosed.[2]

SRB-6 headquarters company searched a passenger bus on the Mongla-Morelganj road at Brahmanmath around 1:20 am on 6 October 2026 and arrested four men: Md. Ibrahim, 23, of Morelganj, and Parvez Ahmed, 25, Aminur Rahman, 32, and Nur Amin, 28, of Rangpur. The unit's press release put the haul at 75 kg, though officers at the scene had told journalists 100-120 kg.
