The “Falchi” unit of Cagliari’s Squadra Mobile arrested two young people from Monserrato in an anti-drug operation.[1] Squadra Mobile investigators identified the two through observation services and reconstructed a possible circuit for holding and distributing drugs.[1] After the operation, the two were taken to the Ettore Scalas prison in Uta at the disposal of the judicial authority.[1] After the validation hearing, the judicial authority placed the older under house arrest and ordered the younger to comply with a signing obligation.[1]
A house search found and seized 7.1 kg of hashish divided into numerous loaves.[1] Officers also seized about 300 grams of marijuana, described as a significant quantity potentially intended to supply the local drug market.[1]
Among the seized material was a kit in packaging marked “La famille Frero Sardegna” containing a hashish loaf and a small knife bearing the same engraving.[1] Investigators are examining whether the drugs were intended not only for street dealing but also for transfer to others for onward distribution through a common recognisable brand, described as a sort of “franchising dello spaccio”.[1] That remains an unverified investigative hypothesis that does not establish the existence of a structured distribution network, though it makes the branded kit particularly significant.[1]
