Officers from the Batalhão de Força Tática went to an events venue on Rua
Leopoldo Machado in the Jesus de Nazaré neighbourhood in central Macapá after a
report of possible drug dealing during a party.[1] A man approached the
officers during patrolling and said drugs were being sold inside the venue, and
police brought in another team before entering to search people at the party.[1] No one was arrested because officers could not identify who discarded the
drugs.[1]
During the searches, someone threw a plastic tube containing substances
described as resembling cocaine and marijuana onto the hall floor.[1] Officers
said the large crowd and insufficient lighting made it impossible to identify
who had thrown the tube.[1] The person in charge of the venue said he had only
rented the property for the party and did not know of any illegal activity.[1]
Police seized the material and sent it to Ciosp, and the person responsible for
the drugs was not identified during the operation.[1]
The occurrence was recorded at about 2:24 a.m. on Sunday, 1 November 2026.[1]
No weight was published for the seized material, and no separate cannabis weight can be separated from the mixed cocaine-and-marijuana description.
The substances were described only as resembling cocaine and marijuana, with no laboratory confirmation reported.
No suspect was identified, arrested, charged, or brought to court in this account.
Only one source for this event was located, so no second account confirms the details.
