Lezha police arrested 18-year-old citizen KP, a resident of Lezha Island, on suspicion of selling Cannabis Sativa in doses mainly near schools.[1][2] Officers caught him red-handed, finding doses packaged and ready for sale on him during a physical search and additional ready-for-sale doses during a later search of his apartment.[1][2] A second outlet identifies the arrested youth as Klevis Paplekaj.[3] Police referred the procedural materials to the Prosecutor’s Office at the Lezha Court of General Jurisdiction for further action.[1][2]

As material evidence, police seized a total of 83 doses of suspected Cannabis Sativa.[1][2] Officers also seized one mobile phone belonging to the arrested person.[3]

The arrest came from Operation Impulse, organized by Narcotics Investigation specialists with Operational Support for Investigation officers on information obtained through operational channels.[1] Police said Impulse was carried out under the Clean Schools operational plan to prevent and crack down on drug sales near educational institutions.[1][2] Investigators suspect the youth was selling cannabis doses in the city of Lezha, mainly in areas near schools.[1]
