Three people were arrested in Larissa at midday on Monday, 2 November 2026, for violating narcotics legislation after a police check.[1] The Larissa Police Directorate said the three people arrested were Greek nationals, described in Greek as imedapoi.[1] The check that led to the arrests was carried out by officers of the Larissa Crime Prevention and Suppression Unit, the police unit known in Greece by the initials O.P.K.E.[1]
During that check officers found a single nylon package containing unprocessed cannabis, termed akatergasti kannavi in Greek, with a police-stated weight of 5.4 grams, or 0.0054 kilograms.[1] Alongside the package officers also found a metal grinder carrying residual traces of cannabis.[1]
Police seized both the packaged cannabis and the grinder, and those seizures were followed by the arrests of the three people.[1]
