Police in Diani, Kwale County, arrested two German nationals and a Kenyan woman after a raid uncovered what officers believe to be a cannabis farm in Mwabungo village.[1]
Acting on a tip-off, officers stormed a residence in the Romika area and found green plants suspected to be cannabis sativa being cultivated within the compound.[1] The suspects were Heck Klaus Edmun and Wegener Geb Sikora, both German passport holders on tourist visas, and Kenyan citizen Natasha Wangari.[1]
Investigators processed and documented the scene before taking the trio into custody; police confirmed the suspects would be arraigned in court.[1] The arrests came barely a month after police in the same area arrested an Italian national and a Kenyan accomplice at a fortified one-acre grow house in Mwabungo.[1]
