On Calle 34, officers saw several men, two of them leaning on the boot of a Kia Río while drinking alcohol.[1] After seeing one man holding an object resembling a firearm, officers searched the men and the vehicle.[1] The six were placed at the disposal of the competent authority to determine their legal situation for alleged crimes against health.[1] They are presumed innocent until a judicial authority declares their responsibility.[1]

They also seized the Kia Río, a pellet gun, two radios, a digital gram scale, alcohol bottles and several mobile phones.[1] The detainees were identified as Jorge “N”, 43, Gabriel de Jesús “N”, 20, Jesús Eduardo “N”, 29, Víctor Manuel “N”, 18, Carlos “N”, 21, and Fabián “N”, 43.[2]

Authorities presented the intervention as part of the state “Morelos por la Seguridad” strategy with state police, the National Guard and the Army.[2]
