On the morning of 27 August 2025 agents from the Drug Enforcement Administration’s Houston division and the Stafford Police Department, with other local and federal partners, executed a search warrant at 4003 Greenbriar Drive in Stafford.[1][2]
The DEA told FOX 26 that investigators found a significant illegal marijuana warehouse at the address.[1] Stafford police and the DEA said they seized about 1,200 pounds of marijuana; KHOU reported more than 1,000 pounds from the same operation.[1][2]
Eighteen people working inside the building were detained.[1][2] The DEA described them as undocumented nationals of Mexico, Honduras, Guatemala and El Salvador and said they were turned over to U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement for deportation processing rather than being named in drug-trafficking charges in these accounts.[1][2]
KHOU said Houston police, the Harris County Sheriff’s Office, Texas Department of Public Safety and U.S. Border Patrol also took part.[2]
