Acting on a tip-off, teams under Sirohi superintendent Dr Ajeya Singh Rathore raided fields at Pagara Fali in Valoria village under Rohida police station, where ganja was allegedly being grown behind maize and fennel crops.[1] Because the plots belonged to different account holders, teams from the Rohida, Pindwara, Swarupganj and Abu Road Sadar stations moved in coordination under additional superintendent Narendra Kumar and Pindwara circle officer Rahul Meena.[1]
Police seized green ganja plants weighing 2,950.84 kg in total and arrested Hosiyaram, Jepuram, Lasmaram and Anil Kumar, registering five cases under the NDPS Act.[1] Questioning of the four continues as officers trace the other links of the illegal cultivation.[1]
