Shkodra police arrested three people as they attempted to traffic cannabis to Montenegro.[1] Police identified those arrested as 24-year-old driver R. M., 28-year-old R. M. and 21-year-old O. S., all residents of Bajze.[1] The arrests were made in flagrante delicto during the police operation coded Grabom.[1]

Police seized three bags filled with packets of cannabis sativa narcotics in the operation.[1] As material evidence, police seized 21.5 kg of cannabis, the vehicle used to transport it and three mobile devices.[1] The driver tried to leave and threw the bags with narcotics on the road before police neutralized him.[1]

The operation was run by Shkoder border and migration officers with the Grabom Border Police and the Shkoder narcotics investigation section.[1] Police said they acted on intelligence that suspects were driving narcotics toward Grabom to move them across the green border into Montenegro.[1] Officers located the suspect vehicle at a place called Kryqezimi i Gabomi with Shkoder narcotics specialists.[1] Police said the case materials were sent to the prosecution at the Shkoder Judicial District Court for trafficking in narcotics committed in cooperation while documentation continues.[1]
