Two men were arrested in flagrante in Samambaia on 31 October 2026 on suspicion of drug trafficking during a Federal District Military Police operation.[1] The actions were carried out by teams of the Battalion of Motorized Ostensive Tactical Patrols, known as ROTAM, and involved a large quantity of marijuana and skunk.[1] Officers first stopped a suspect at around 6pm at QN 401 after intelligence work and found a portion of suspected marijuana on him during the search.[1]
Searches at a property linked to the man then found various pieces and portions of marijuana and skunk, four precision scales and materials used to divide the drugs.[1] Information from that case led officers to a second address at QR 601 at around 8:30pm, where they entered the home with the resident’s authorization.[1] Under a bed there, officers found a suitcase holding eight pieces, eight large portions and five medium portions of marijuana.[1] Another precision scale was also seized there, and police said the findings reinforced suspicions that the home was used to store narcotics.[1] Across the two addresses, the reported total was five precision scales alongside the marijuana and skunk.[1]
Both men were taken with all the collected material to the 26th Police Station in Samambaia Norte.[1]
