Khankaysky district court in Primorsky Krai sentenced two local men to 10 and 11 years in strict-regime penal colonies after investigators proved they had prepared a large batch of wild cannabis for hash-oil production, the Primorye Interior Ministry said on 12 December 2025.[1] The court found them guilty under part 3 of article 30 and part 3 of article 228 of the Criminal Code.[1]

Investigators established that in September of the previous year the men, aged 38 and 51, harvested cannabis tops near the village of Komissarovo in Khankaysky district.[1] They used one man’s quad bike to move sacks and dried the material in open fields, planning to make hash oil.[2] Regional FSB officers stopped them during the harvesting and seized sacks weighing more than 100 kilograms together with dozens of plastic containers of precursors.[1]

The judgment has entered into force according to the regional police statement relayed by both outlets.[1]
