Military police arrested a monitored apenado, a person serving a criminal
sentence, in the late afternoon of Sunday 1 November 2026 on Rua Raquel de
Queiroz in the Nova Esperança neighbourhood in the north zone of Porto Velho.[1] A Força Tática team of the 1st Battalion under Sergeant Shokness went to
the address after receiving denunciations that a man was selling drugs there.[1] When the officers approached, the suspect ran and jumped over the walls of
neighbouring houses to evade detention.[2] The officers set up a perimeter
cordon, intercepted and detained the apenado.[2]
During the search officers seized several drug portions including maconha, the
Portuguese word for cannabis, alongside cocaine and ecstasy.[2] The second
outlet described the haul as portions of maconha, cocaine, crack and synthetic
drugs, plus objects of doubtful provenance.[1] PVH Notícias presented the
location as a boca de fumo, an open-air drug-selling point, and its headline put
the total haul at more than 100 drug portions.[1]
Police treated the case as trafficking and took the detainee with the seized
material to the Civil Police flagrante department.[2]

- No separable cannabis weight was published, and the headline total of more than 100 portions covers all drugs combined, so no cannabis kilogram figure is recorded.
- The first account lists maconha, cocaine and ecstasy while the second lists maconha, cocaine, crack and synthetic drugs; the report keeps the shared cannabis component and notes the discrepancy.
- The event date of 1 November 2026 rests on both reports' Sunday (01) timing and same-day publication; no separate hour-by-hour chronology was published.
- No court outcome beyond transfer to the flagrante department was reported.
