Military police in Rondônia arrested Ryan Frazão de Lima and seized drugs, two precision scales and a vehicle in the south zone of Porto Velho.[1] The action followed anonymous reports of possible drug distribution in the state capital.[1]

According to the police record, teams from the 5th Battalion were told a man was using a white Honda HR-V to sell and deliver drugs at different points in the city.[1] During a preventive patrol, officers found a vehicle with those characteristics at the junction of Rua Nova Esperança and Rua Juazeiro.[1] The driver was stopped and searched, but nothing illicit was found on him at first.[1] A search of the car then found two portions of substances resembling cocaine and crack, and a precision scale in the boot.[1]

Questioned by the officers, he admitted the seized material was his and said he kept other drugs in his apartment on Rua Ceres, in the Conceição neighbourhood.[1] With a team from the 9th Battalion, police went to that address.[1] In a wardrobe they found a tablet of about one kilogram of a substance resembling cannabis, known locally as maconha, and another precision scale.[1]

He was placed under arrest and taken to the police station with the drugs, the seized equipment and the vehicle for the legal procedures.[1]
