On 3 November 2026, Phuc Loi ward police held a conference to review grassroots public-order work and the responsibility of community police officers in 2026.[1] Police reported that political security and social order in the ward remained stable during the first 10 months of 2026 with no complex or unexpected incidents.[1] In those 10 months, ward police investigated 21 drug cases involving 25 suspects.[1] The highlighted case was illegal trading of cannabis, known locally as cần sa, with 39,544 grams (nearly 39.5 kg) seized.[1] Police described that cannabis case as serious with a large seizure showing proactive and resolute drug-crime enforcement.[1]

In the same period, police received and resolved 34 public-order crimes.[1] They also handled three cases of spreading false information online and removed three cases of joining reactionary groups online.[1] Police advised the ward authority on managing conditional businesses, ran a campaign on weapons and explosives, and introduced neighbourhood and school security models.[1] Delegates praised grassroots police, especially community officers, and raised issues about traffic safety and fire prevention in boarding houses and apartment blocks.[1] Ward police chief Lieutenant Colonel Do Huu Phuc answered the comments and asked local authorities and residents to keep working with police to protect security.[1]
