Rural Superintendent of Police Rajesh Singh Prabhakar said the actions were part
of a drive against liquor-prohibition violations and narcotics smuggling in the
Fakuli thana, the local police-station area.[1]A second Bhaskar account says
the liquor raid followed a Tuesday tip that foreign liquor was stored in a
litchi orchard near Dhondhi bridge and was being moved.[3]Samaj Jagran dates
the two Fakuli actions to 3 November 2026.[2]Police said further legal action
and investigation of the smuggling network are under way.[3]
