In Barhara in Bhojpur district, Bihar, officers of Babura police station arrested a man on a charge of possessing ganja, the cannabis product at issue in this case.[1] The arrested accused was identified as Ramnath Singh.[1] Singh is described as a resident of Semra village, a settlement served by the same Babura police station that carried out the arrest.[1]

Police said the search recovered 2.30 grams of ganja from his possession, a small cannabis seizure equivalent to 0.0023 kilograms.[1] The available police account attributes the case information to Sanjay Kumar, the station head of Babura police station.[1] The incident therefore consists of one arrest and one small-quantity ganja seizure in the Babura policing area of Bhojpur.[1]
