200 officers search 12 premises in Leipzig clan raid
About 200 customs, police and city officers checked 12 bars, shisha bars and shops in eastern Leipzig on 2 November 2026 in an anti-clan operation. Officers logged seven narcotics and cannabis-law violations and found larger quantities of narcotics in a commercial property on Eisenbahnstraße, with no separate cannabis weight published.

The larger raid took place on Eisenbahnstraße on the night to Tuesday to combat
clan crime.[1] The reported target was the Anatolia Star Bar at the corner of
Eisenbahnstraße and Konstantinstraße.[2] Officers arrived around 22:00,
according to TAG24 information.[2] Customs units were joined by Saxony’s LKA,
federal police, tax investigators, Leipzig police and the city order service.[3] Around 200 officers took part jointly in the operation.[3][4] Police
reported 122 identity checks.[3]
The checks began in the afternoon and covered twelve premises mainly in eastern
Leipzig.[3][4] Those premises were bars, shisha bars and retail shops.[3]
Officers recorded violations of the narcotics and consumer cannabis law in seven
cases.[2][5] They also recorded eight violations of residence law.[3] Three
violations of weapons law were recorded.[3] Customs officers seized six
kilograms of untaxed water-pipe tobacco in one property.[3] In a Leipzig
prosecution inquiry over suspected drug trafficking, a commercial building on
Eisenbahnstraße was searched.[3][4] Larger quantities of narcotics were found
there and passed to LKA Saxony for further handling.[3] Radio Leipzig
described the find as larger quantities of marijuana and other drugs.[1]
Customs said the operation also aimed to gather cross-offence and cross-agency
intelligence on clan activities and unlawful structures.[3] The Clan task
force was set up at the LKA in 2023 and focuses on the greater Leipzig area.[1]

No separate weight for the marijuana, hashish or other narcotics was published, so no cannabis weight is counted and the combined larger quantity is omitted from the figures.
The six kilograms of water-pipe tobacco is a tobacco-tax seizure and is excluded from cannabis figures.
The seven narcotics and consumer cannabis law violations are cases with proceedings opened, not named people charged; no arrests or court outcomes were reported.
The checks began in the afternoon of 2 November 2026 and ran into the early hours of 3 November 2026; 2 November is used as the incident date while the outlets published on 3 November.
