Police empty Landshut Hanf.com shop in 34th raid on chain
Police searched the Hanf.com hemp shop on Theaterstraße in Landshut on 9 October 2026 and seized about 1,500 items including seeds, cuttings, hemp tea and CBD flowers. Founder Wenzel Cerveny called the fourth Landshut search disproportionate; no charges were brought that day.
Three police patrols searched the Hanf.com store on Theaterstraße in Landshut on
Friday afternoon and sealed it off during the operation.[1] An officer was
posted at the entrance of the small shop in the heart of Landshut and let nobody
into the hemp shop, with three patrol cars at the scene on Friday the 9th.[2]
Hanf.com founder Wenzel Cerveny, 65, said the shelves were empty and called the
action damaging to business.[1] No charges were brought on the day of the
raid.[1]
Cannabis seeds were taken from a refrigerator, cuttings were cut off, and hemp
teas, CBD flowers, other merchandise and the shop till were seized.[1]
Officers had found about 13 to 15 plants under grow lighting there, according to
the warrant.[1]
Cerveny directs his criticism at the Landshut public prosecutor’s office, the
Staatsanwaltschaft, which has now had the shop searched for the fourth time.[1] The 65-year-old sells hemp in Landshut and Regensburg and is in conflict
with the Bavarian judiciary.[2] Wenzel Cerveny is the founder of the Hanf.com
shop chain.[2] In Landshut Hanf.com sells growing supplies alongside food,
cosmetics, CBD products and industrial-hemp products.[1]
The Friday raid date is given as Friday afternoon in the 11 October 2026 report and as Friday the 9th in the idowa account, so 9 October 2026 is used as the incident date.
No weight for the seized hemp tea or CBD flowers and no count of seized cuttings or plants was published, so no cannabis quantity is recorded.
The reported figure of about 1,500 articles is a total item count covering merchandise and the till, not a cannabis-only weight or plant number.
The figures of at least ten suspected plants and 13 to 15 observed plants come from the warrant account and are not recorded as seized plants.
Only the company's account of the seizure could be opened; no police or prosecution statement was found.
The Rundschau page shows a raid photo, but no absolute direct image address could be recovered, so no media entry is listed.
The text gives a number of plants ("15 plants") but the figures have no plants_destroyed; check whether it belongs there.
