Córdoba’s Fuerza Policial Antinarcotráfico (FPA), the province’s anti-drug police, detained four adult men in an operation against alleged drug selling in southern Córdoba.[1] The detainees, two brothers and two cousins, were accused of forming a family organisation moving drugs for sale.[1] Three men were detained in Laboulaye and the fourth was arrested in Río Cuarto with Córdoba police help on the prosecutor’s orders.[2] The four men and all seized items were placed at the disposal of the judiciary under National Drug Law 23.737, Argentina’s national drug law.[1]

The case began with anonymous calls to the drug-complaint line 0800-888-8080 and led to four house searches, three in Laboulaye and one in Río Cuarto.[2] In the searches officers seized 93 doses of marijuana, two cannabis plants and 1,987 cannabis seeds as the cannabis component, alongside 138 doses of cocaine.[1] Officers also seized four firearms, two precision scales, 1,721,800 pesos, an unspecified amount of US dollars, a car and equipment for indoor cannabis cultivation.[1]

Investigators said the alleged sales ran from a central kiosco, a small shop used as a street-level drug sale point, and two houses opposite it half a block from a school in Laboulaye.[1] Investigators alleged the group brought drugs from Río Cuarto to Laboulaye and General Levalle for distribution and sale.[2]
