Córdoba’s Fuerza Policial Antinarcotráfico, the provincial anti-drug police, detained two men in Barrio Los Eucaliptos in the city of Córdoba during an operation against narcomenudeo, small-scale drug dealing.[1] The force raided two homes and dismantled an alleged drug sales point plus a second property allegedly used to store drugs.[2] The procedures were carried out within an investigation into the sale of narcotics.[1]

During the searches officers found several doses of marijuana and seized other items deemed of interest to the case.[1] Investigators said the two suspects allegedly belonged to an organisation selling drugs as a kiosco, a fixed sales point.[1] Investigators also said the two men allegedly acted as partners in the suspected illegal activity.[1]

After the raids the Fiscalía de Lucha contra el Narcotráfico del Primer Turno, the First-Turn anti-narcotics prosecutor, ordered both men transferred to judicial headquarters.[1] It also ordered the seized substances and other items sent on to be incorporated into the investigation.[1] The case continues as an alleged breach of National Drug Law No. 23.737.[1]
