Police operatives discovered three marijuana plantations in Benguet during separate anti-illegal drug operations in the Cordillera Administrative Region (CAR).[1] The three plantation sites were reported in Barangays Kayapa, Bakun and Sagubo in the municipality of Kapangan, Benguet.[1] The marijuana eradication operations in the province were conducted separately by operating units.[1] The account of the Benguet operations was attributed to the Police Regional Office-Cordillera Administrative Region (PRO-CAR).[1]

Officers confiscated a total of 2,230 fully grown marijuana plants from the three Kapangan plantation sites.[1] PRO-CAR, the Cordillera regional police office, estimated the standard drug price of the confiscated plants at P446,000.[1] The P446,000 figure is the police estimate at the standard drug price, not an independently verified market value.[1]

The three sites were handled as separate eradication targets in the provincial operations.[1] Kapangan is the municipality in Benguet where all three reported plantation sites were located.[1] The confiscation account covers only fully grown marijuana plants, with no other cannabis weight reported for these sites.[1]
