Drug-control officers of the Central District police in Kaliningrad received intelligence that a 34-year-old local resident might be involved in drug dealing.[1] During a search at the suspect’s home in Guryevsk, police seized 44.66 grams of cannabis and 1.65 grams of cannabis-plant parts, along with 0.48 grams of heroin and 11.23 grams of amphetamine.[1] Police said preliminary information indicated that the man was keeping those substances for sale through the shadow segment of the internet.[1]

Officers found photographs with the coordinates of a wholesale drug cache on the suspect’s mobile phone.[1] At the indicated location, officers seized 992.03 grams of a crystalline substance described as ephedrone.[1] Investigators say the man planned to collect that wholesale batch for later contactless sale.[1] Police also established that he had set up a separate dead-drop stash containing 1.86 grams of amphetamine intended for sale through an online store.[1] An investigator opened criminal cases under parts of Articles 30 and 228.1 of the Russian Criminal Code.[1]
