Police in Glasgow arrested and charged a 26-year-old man following a police bust in the city.[1] The 26-year-old man is due to appear at Glasgow Sheriff Court on Tuesday, 3 November.[1]

Officers executed a search warrant and raided an address on Ruby Street on Sunday, 1 November.[1] The Ruby Street raid recovered cocaine, cannabis and MDMA along with a five-figure sum of cash.[1] Police gave the seized cocaine, cannabis and MDMA an estimated combined street value of around £9,200.[1] The combined £9,200 valuation covers all three seized drugs together, not cannabis alone.[1]

Detective Sergeant Poppy Ford said drugs cause misery in communities and the recovery highlights police commitment to remove drugs from the streets.[1] Ford said information from the public is vital and asked anyone with information to report it to police.[1] She said anyone with concerns can contact Police Scotland on 101 or call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.[1] Police Scotland is the force appealing for information about drug activity after the Ruby Street recovery.[1]
