🇩🇪 Königstraße, Altstadt, Duisburg · Germany
In the night to Saturday 31 October 2026 at about 00:30, Duisburg officers
checked a 28-year-old man on Königstraße in the Altstadt.[1] During the check
they seized a larger amount of cash, two mobile phones and a pharmacy bag
holding assorted medications and hashish.[2] The hashish is the cannabis
component recorded in this report, while police gave no weight for it or for the
medications.[1] At the request of the Duisburg public prosecutor’s office,
officers then searched the man’s apartment on Alleestraße.[2]
In the apartment they found a not-insignificant amount of painkillers and
additional cash, which they also seized.[1] Officers reported no cannabis find
in the apartment and published no cash total, phone details or cannabis-only
street value.[2] The 28-year-old now faces criminal proceedings on suspicion
of dealing in narcotics in a not-insignificant amount.[1]
No weight was published for the hashish, the medications or the painkillers, and no cash amount was given, so no cannabis quantity or value can be recorded.
Police described the street cash only as a larger amount and the flat painkillers only as a not-insignificant amount.
No arrest or detention was reported, only a check, seizures, a flat search and pending proceedings.
It is unclear whether the suspected dealing in a not-insignificant amount refers to the hashish, the painkillers or the combination.
