Delhi police break courier-based ganja network, arrest three
West Delhi's anti-narcotics squad arrested three men aged 22-25 in Khyala on 25 October, seizing 26.46 kg of Odisha ganja moved by courier in saree, sound-box and RO-purifier cartons. The Bihar-run network used false addresses so couriers would call the boss's own number.

The anti-narcotics squad of West District, Delhi Police, busted an inter-state cannabis supply network in the capital on Sunday 25 October 2026, arresting three accused and seizing 26.46 kg of marijuana.[1][2] The suspects, Chandan Kumar, Nitesh Kumar and Vicky Kumar, all aged 22 to 25, were booked under the NDPS Act.[1][2]
Chandan Kumar, 22, was nabbed after his e-rickshaw was scanned during a routine Khyala patrol, yielding 16.906 kg of ganja, with another 5.354 kg recovered from his rented JJ Colony premises.[1][2] He disclosed that the ganja came from Odisha through courier parcels arranged by Nitesh Kumar of Bihar, hidden in saree boxes, sound boxes and RO-purifier cartons for distribution among Delhi peddlers.[1][2] Nitesh allegedly ran the three-state operation by mobile phone, putting false addresses on consignments so couriers would call his own number to arrange receipt.[1][2]
