Officers of the Valle de Sianca emergency motorcycle section stopped a motorcycle carrying two people at the Vialidad post on Ruta Provincial 11 in the town of Campo Santo, in Salta province, Argentina.[1] The riders, a 34-year-old woman and a 31-year-old man, were detained at the roadside after the stop.[2]

During the search that followed, officers found narcotics, two mobile phones, a scale, cash and the motorcycle the pair had been riding.[1] The Valle de Sianca anti-narcotics investigation section was called in and carried out the formal seizure of the drugs.[3]

The two were placed at the disposal of the courts, and the case went to UFINAR, the Unidad Fiscal contra la Narcocriminalidad, the Salta prosecution unit that handles drug cases, and to the Colegio de la Magistratura, the provincial magistrates’ body.[2]
